Are you strictly a Catholic Non-Profit Organization?

The Bishop Dudley Hospitality House is a non-profit ecumenical ministry, in collaboration with other social service providers, serving as a central, first stop resource for those in need of day and night time shelter essential services.

Do you restrict non-financial donations to your facility?

The Bishop Dudley Hospitality House accepts various donations including hygiene items, food items, for a more specific list refer to our donation list. Donations may be dropped off between the hours of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM seven days a week.

How many family units do you have at the facility and how many can each room accommodate?

The facility is equipped with (7) secured, individual family rooms that contain (2) queen size beds, (1) dresser, (1) desk, (1) chair and a private bathroom.

Each family room can accommodate up to (6) family members and the room is restricted to immediate family members only.

Is there a length of stay policy for the guests that you serve?

During the cold weather months, we will not enforce a length of stay policy.  During the warm weather months the guests will have a 30 day length of stay. The length of stay may be extended as long as the guest is working toward self improvement goals and meets with our resource advocate.

What are some of the services that are offered at the facility?

All of the services provided by the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House are free of charge to the patrons we serve on a daily basis.  These services include laundry, showers, computer access, telephone access, coffee, in-town bus passes, hygiene kits, and a light lunch Monday through Friday.

For a small fee, a guest can have access to an individual locker which is located in our day rooms.

Does your facility offer volunteer opportunities?

An individual or group could volunteer for our evening check-in process, administrative duties, lunch service and projects oriented towards the children.
